Audi FIS Ski World Cup Ladies - Arlberg Kandahar Rennen

  • The Women’s international ski elite will be making a guest appearance in St. Anton am Arlberg on the 12th and 13th January 2019 to compete in the two fastest alpine disciplines.

Participants in the Audi FIS Ski World Cup Ladies will be battling against the clock for some coveted World Cup points and to defend their sporting reputation in the Downhill and Super-G. The famous Kandahar Racecourse is in fact a challenge in itself: an average incline gradient of 34 percent facilitates speeds of up to 130 km/h. Hobby skiers will be able to pick up a few tips from the pros including Lindsey Vonn and Anna Veith and test the demanding downhill run for themselves after the official races are over. The start line is located just below Kapall, at 2,065 metres, from where the Karl-Schranz-Kandahar route leads over the Himmeleck and Eisfall sections and down to the World Cup Stadium.
