Technical Training for the children of the St. Anton branch

The St. Anton branch of the Ski Club Arlberg recently commenced the new season of training with the very youngest of our promising athletes. The ski club, working in co-operation with the Ski School Arlberg, held a two-day course of technical training for these kids. The focus in this course was on promoting a love of skiing, as well as team solidarity. In addition, it offered a high-quality, varied and educational technical program, led by the ski club’s volunteer trainers and a team of the Ski School Arlberg’s best-trained ski instructors. The 47 kids born between 2009 and 2013 were divided into 4 groups. The children took part with great zest and enthusiasm and at the end of the weekend it was a great pleasure to see so many happy young faces. Many thanks go to the Ski School Arlberg, in particular to the manager of the ski school, Richard Walter, who made it possible to hold these valuable ski days without charge. The St. Anton branch of the Ski Club Arlberg is proud this year to have around 150 children and youths in its different training programs: Alpine, Newschool, Freeride and Snowboard. The team of trainers is also very happy and highly motivated to be able to work with so many young people once again this year.
