STANTON Freeride by Ski-Club Arlberg

On Saturday, 18th of February 2023 are all eyes on the next generation of freeriding.
STANTON Freeride by Ski Club Arlberg is an 2** Junior Freeride Event, which gives the future generation of Freeride a chance fortheir first steps into competition. Girls and boys, on skis and snowboard in U14-U18 categories will compete and show their bests.

The aim of this event is to support the grassroots of our fabulous sport. Stefan Häusl, 9 years on the Freeride World Tour and Freeride World Tour stop winner, will be Chief of Race in his hometown resort St. Anton am Arlberg. The competition face (Rendl) is playful and has nice futures and the riders can show their skill in front of the breathtaking landscape and where the crowd can watch them too. Don´t miss out on this spectacular event and either be one of the brav rider and part of the competition (Registration) or join as spectator and support and cheer for the daring youngster . INFORMATION ON THE COMPETITION RIDING FACE

The contest will take place in the Rendl area, right next to the Riffelbahn 1 chair lift (Coordinates).

Sea level: 2130 m – 1930 m
Depth metres: 200
Length: 500
Gradient: 35
Average snowfall in cm: 150 cm
Spectator viewing position: Riders right of finisharea

Take the Rendlbahn cable car to the top, past the snow park and then continue with the Riffelbahn. From there you can already see the event area. The slope next to the Face is open throughout the weekend and spectators have the opportunity to cheer on the Juniors.

09.00 to 10.00 am – Face Check

10.00 am – Start Competition at Rendl

Afterwards – Award ceremony at the finish area
