2nd Summer Snow Ski Race

Skiers in dirndls and lederhosen as well as telemarkers and wooden skiers also athletes in racing suits took part in the challenge of the equivalency run (giant slalom) on the Muggengrat in Zürs. A total of 23 women and 49 men were at the start. There were two runs. The person with the smallest time difference won. Therefore there is only one women and one men class and no age groups. Not the speed, but the art of getting two equally good runs across the finish line was the task. This was mastered brilliantly for women by Mrs. Marlene Rockenschaub-Fendt with only 5 hundredths and for men by Mr. Daniel Gassner with only 2 hundredths of a difference. The two winners could therefore look forward to the latest Ski Kore model from Head. All in all, it was a special day with lots of sun, perfect snow, smiling faces, a good atmosphere and great encounters. The 3rd edition is planned for June 2022.
